Wedding Catering FAQ

At A Moveable Feast we pride ourselves in creating unique menus customized to each wedding couple. We work with you to design a menu that matches your style, taste, dietary restrictions, and budget. We are happy to send sample menus for you to use as a starting point. Request a menu today.

We offer a buffet, plated, and family-style dinner service. Meal pricing varies based on the type of service requested. We also like to get creative with live-action and food stations. 

Our pricing includes all serving dishes and serving utensils. We work closely with local rental companies and will assist you with your china and glassware rental needs.

We are a completely mobile catering company and often cater at locations with no facilities. We have a self-contained mobile kitchen and specialize in creating satellite kitchens to make sure your food is fresh and finished on-site.

Yes, we can accommodate all dietary restrictions as indicated prior to your event. This includes gluten-free, dairy-free, nut-free, vegan, vegetarian and paleo. We are constantly creating new menu items with dietary restrictions in mind.

Yes. Our staffing fees are dependent on the event location and details of the event. We work with you on the level of service you require. If your guest count increases, staffing may also be increased to ensure our high level of service.

During the wedding season, some dates can become completely booked. Once you decide to work with A Moveable Feast, we recommend signing a contract and paying the deposit to secure the date.

Your guest count is due fourteen days prior to your event date. Please be sure to include any vendor meals in your headcount.

Once you feel comfortable with the vision and cost of your proposal, we welcome the opportunity to schedule a tasting. The menu that you will try at the tasting will be a sampling of our culinary expertise and representative of the menu you have chosen. For clients who have not yet signed a contract, there is a tasting fee that will be adjusted off of your final bill when you book with us.

A Moveable Feast does not have the ability to provide alcohol for your event, but we can recommend licensed and insured mobile liquor caterers in our area. 

We can provide all of the mixers, garnishes, equipment, and ice specific to your bar needs when the beer, wine and spirits are provided by our clients. This keeps things simple for you and limits the number of shopping trips leading up to your event.
